Safranbolu Cinci Han is one of the big, little mixed caravanserais established on historical silk road laying from China to Anatolian land for the centuries.
Cinci Han was built by a Safranbolu notable, Karabaszade Hüseyin Efendi in 1645. In the time the Historical Silk Road was losing its values, the Cinci Han was used as caravansary until 20th century. After the beginning of the 20th century it was used as a warehouse by tradesman, however lost this feature towards the end of the 20th century.
