Introduction It is in Istanbul historical peninsula, in Sultanahmet Akbıyık Avenue and on the Roman and Byzantine wall towers!!! It is a wooden residence, having split aubergine model, composed of 2 houses, constructed by the order of General Cemal at the beginning of 20th Century, and registered as 2nd class Historical Building under Protection and composed of main residence building and 1 house with identity of Sultanahmet.
The operator of the Hotel is ERTEN TURİZM İşletmeciliği ve Danışmanlık Tic. A.Ş., which restores the Hotel and, the Hotel is purchased by above mentioned company in 2004 and restored authentically with the consents, obtained from Protection Council of the Cultural and Natural Heritages…During the period, when General Cemal was living, he entered into the front garden through phaeton and he parked the phaeton and then entered into the residence. Back garden is an indoor garden, in which harem stays.
Residence is 100 meters far from Sultan Ahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque) and Sultanahmet Square, Hagia Sophia Museum, Topkapı Palace, Basilica Cistern and museums. It is at the heart of historical structure of Istanbul. You can touch Sultanahmet Mosque (Blue Mosque) by your hand from the residence.
This residence with 16 rooms hosted Turkish films with historical characters such as Hacivat and Karagöz in 1970's and it was restored authentically in order to keep alive the life, culture and history of that period with distinctive personality and delicate cultural character of the Family by using Ottoman and Turkish life and decoration objects.
While you stay in this Residence, you will find yourself living in an Ottoman residence. Heating and cooling are provided through the central system in the residence. 16 pieces of deluxe rooms, located in four floors of the residence, have been furnished with internet access, fire detectors, beds and curtains, made of fireproof fabrics, mini-bar, TV and work table. Jacuzzi, different wall tiles and Italian Roca vitrified material are used in the baths. Car park and dry cleaning service are provided in the Residence.

Tulip Garden
Garden, which is located in the entrance section of the residence, is decorated with festoons, mosaic ground is arranged with Byzantine rubbing bricks, furnished with tulip figure, which is one of the Ottoman symbols. This garden, in which General Cemal parks his phaeton at that time, shows the identity of the residence with a nice view from outside.
Winter Garden
Winter garden is located in the back part of the residence, shadowed with two buildings, and it has floor heating and it serves as breakfast hall and cafe-snack bar during the daytime. Winter garden is covered with a mulberry tree and pleasant coffee rituals of old periods are experienced with the illuminations at nights.
Terrace Cafe
You should go up this café and lead a life of pleasure in order to hold 6th minaret of Sultanahmet mosque by hand, on the reception, lobby and business centre building.
