Tas Otel , opened in 2001, is the first hotel de charme in Alaçatı.
It is a tastefully renovated, 110 year old Greek mansion. Taş means stone in turkish and it is the main building material used in the hotel.
The owner of Taş Otel, Ms. Zeynep Öziş, is among the founders of the Alaçatı Preservation Society and thanks to the efforts of this society, Alaçatı is stated among the ten most beutiful towns in Turkey.
Tas Otel is ideal for those who want to escape the city life in search of a relaxing holiday. The hotel offers a wide collection of classical jazz Cds (especially piano). During the day, you have the option of windsurfing or relaxing on the beautiful sandy beaches. In the evenings, you can choose one of the famous restaurants in Alaçatı and enjoy a meal under the stars.
Tas Otel is open all year round. The best months for a more quiet and peaceful stay are April- May and October. In the winter, you can enjoy the hotels fireplace, accompanied with a glass of wine.

The 8 rooms in Tas Otel offer you the atmosphere of 150 years ago and todays confort.
All our rooms are decorated with the same simple and tasteful style; the size of the rooms, however, vary because the original shape of the house is kept. We have 2 rooms with twin beds and 6 rooms with french beds. The floors, the 5 meter high ceilings, doors and windows are made of pine wood.
The rooms have a female touch : pure linen curtains decorated with hand made lace, mosquito nets, hand made quilts, mirrored wardrobes... Our rooms do not have TV or telephones; there are night tables, make-up tables, safety boxes and air conditioning in all our rooms.
We have also wireless internet access in the hotel premises and rooms.
All the rooms have a private bathroom, equipped with shower cabin, hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel and soap with an olive leaf scent.
